“Coach Tu has worked with my elite aerobics athletes that I’ve coached over the last 3 years.
He has helped produce an exceptional team environment whilst also encouraging individuals to shine in their own right. He has fostered positive relationships between athlete, coach and parent and worked on helping the girls to recognise that they need to be thankful for the many gifts they are blessed with. I have learnt from Coach Tu the importance of having a strong support network that always encourages you to perform to your best. We are all very grateful to have Tu's help and support and without it we would not have achieved the fantastic international results that we have.” Kirsten Palmer—Coach NZ Junior Aerobics Team (2010 - 2012) Photo: Kirten and Madison Milne
“This year we have seen Madison grow as a person, in her character and decision making in all areas of her life. I wish I had have engaged Coach Tu earlier.” Kim Milne—Mum of Madison from Botany, Auckland
“The note book has really helped me overcome the pressure and fears of competition, especially when we were in Serbia for the World Champs. His tailored handy hints during each coaching session, really helped me to address key concerns in my life at that time and has set me up for many more years of competitive sport to come.”

After playing in the Edgewater College 1st XV team of 2009, Joe made the Blues under 16yrs team.
This provided him with a scholarship to St Kentigerns which launched him into the NZ secondary Schools team in 2011 after they won the Auckland 1A Competition and the national Cooed Comp. Joe also captained the Blues un18 team to an undefeated season. He left the school with level three Merit average and as Chapel Prefect for the College.
2012 Joe started for the PURC Premier team as an 18yr old as their blindside flanker, and went on to feature well in the ITM Auckland Team as well as completing his first year training as a Secondary Teacher.
2013 dawned with a wider blues contract and selection as vice-captain of the NZ 20’s team to France. His skills and character off the field has seen him front a number of community projects and speaking engagements on behalf of the two teams.
He continues to be a youth leader and is an Ambassador with Quantum Sport and Sporting Edge Trust.
Injury prevented him from taking his place in the NZ Maoris Tour after a strong ITM cup season for Auckland.
Joe won the 2013 Junior Maori Sportsman award.
“I am very thankful that Dad used me as his trial student, and I’m rapt that so
many of my mates got to benefit from his experiences and wisdom too.
I strive to Honour the gifts that I have been blessed with daily and look forward
to the next magic moment that I can share with my family” said Joe.
